Teaching dancing is my passion and I love that every day I get to see young people working hard showing dedication and enjoyment for such a wonderful art. I enjoy teaching all forms of dance including Classical ballet, Jazz, Tap, Street Tap, Musical Theatre, Lyrical and Cabaret. I am qualified registered dance teacher and hold my diploma in dance through the Commonwealth Society of Teachers of Dancing. I am a qualified ZUMBA instructor, Qualified Acrobatic Arts teacher and I have a current first aid certificate and WWCC. I am also studying my Certificate 4 in dance teaching and management through the Australian Dance Institute . I regularly take classes with industry professionals keeping my teaching fresh and in touch with the newest trends. I also enjoy working and performing through the Entertainment Store with various character suit jobs. Most recently i have enjoyed being Lego Clay, Hey Duggee and Gekko from PJ Masks Dance Force under my direction has travelled to Hong Kong Disneyland, California Disneyland 2012 and 2015 and to various competitions and charity events across Queensland. In 2018 I am taking our largest group yet to perform in Hong Kong Disneyland, Ocean Park and Stanley Plaza.

Ballet , Tap, Jazz, Acrobatics
Georgia began dancing at the ripe age of three, and it didn’t take long for her love of dance to flourish! Under the guidance of Mrs Dale-Maree Coles (Toowoomba School of Dance), she studied RAD ballet and completed her grade exams, passing all with Distinction. Georgia also completed her Intermediate Foundation and Intermediate Vocational exams. Georgia has attained her Grade 8 Award in CSTD Modern Jazz, Grade 6 in CSTD Classical Ballet, and Advanced Gold Star in the CSTD Tapping Syllabus. Georgia holds a current Working with Children Check (blue card). Outside of dance teaching, Georgia also fulfils short contracts with companies like The Entertainment Store, working in kid’s entertainment and with various suit characters. Georgia has completed her Acrobatics teaching course through Acrobatic Arts and is now a Qualified Acrobatic Arts Teacher. As a teacher, Georgia strives to instil a love of dance in her students. She also endeavours to promote the many options and opportunities within the dance industry, performance-based and otherwise.

Ballet, Contemporary, Jazz
Mia joined Dance Force in 2014, and teaches Ballet, Contemporary, Jazz and PBT (Fitball). She trained full-time at the Marie Walton-Mahon Dance Academy, before moving to Zurich, Switzerland where she trained at Tanz Akademie Zurich and danced a range of Classical and Contemporary works throughout Switzerland and Italy. She returned to Australia in 2008 to complete her Diploma of Dance Performance with the National College of Dance, NSW where in her graduating year she gained significant experience performing as a Soloist and working as a contributing choreographer in their Staging of Seven Deadly Sins and Swan Lake with Artists of the Australian Ballet. Upon graduating Mia was offered a Full Scholarship to the Joffrey Ballet School, A Contract with Royal Caribbean Cruise lines and Seconded with Sydney Dance Company, Melbourne Ballet, and the Queensland Ballet. Mia has also studied Small business Management and Sports Psychology, and is currently studying to attain her CTSD Ballet Teacher’s Certificate & Diploma.

Ballet, Jazz, Contemporary
Theresa was trained by Royal Academy of Dance international examiner, Dale Coles, from the age of five in the RAD ballet syllabus. As a student she achieved a distinction in Advanced 2 and a distinction (with 98%) in the Grade 8 Award. She has also trained in a number of other dance disciplines, including Jazz (CSTD Jazz 8 and Modern Jazz Award with honours Plus) Tap (CSTD Gold Star Tap with High Distinction) and Contemporary. Theresa's dance teachers were always challenging her and pushing her to her physical and creative limits. This inspired her to become a dance teacher so she has the same opportunity to challenge, encourage and inspire young dancers and work with a team of innovative and hard-working dance professionals. Theresa has over ten years of dance teaching experience and is a qualified Royal Academy of Dance teacher, completing her RAD certificate in Ballet Teaching studies in 2013.

Alicia has been apart of the Dance Force family for 13 years now learning skills from a large variety of mentors. Having travelled overseas to both Hong Kong and LA, Alicia has danced in Disneyland, Universal Studios, Hollywood Blvd and taken classes at the leading dance studios in America such as The Edge and Millennium Dance Complex. Alicia regularly does suit character and chaperone jobs with The Entertainment Store, some including Elmo, Kooky Cookie and the Easter Fairy. Having completed her Certificate III in Performing Arts at the Australian Dance Performance Institute, Alicia holds a variety of knowledge within the dance industry which she loves sharing with her students. Alicia hold her CSTD Modern Jazz teaching certificate and is currently working towards completing her diploma. By actively taking classes with industry professionals, Alicia is regularly refreshed with new ideas keeping her classes up to date with the newest trends. Alicia loves sharing her knowledge with her students and is excited to continue to watch them grow this year.

Student Teacher
Rebecca has been apart of the Dance Force family for 14 years Training in CSTD and RAD Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Contemporary, Hip Hop, Character and Gymnastics. Rebecca has travelled overseas to Hong Kong and LA dancing in Disneyland, Universal studios, Hollywood Blvd and taking classes from leading studios in America including The Edge, Milennium Dance Complex and the Abby Lee Dance Company. Rebecca has also trained at Queensland Ballet, Brent Street Sydney, RAW dance company and Expressions Dance Company. Rebecca's talents also expand into musical theatre holding lead roles in Wizard of Oz, My Fair Lady, Bye Bye Blackbird and Popstars the 90's musical. Her latest production was in Creative Generation being a featured dancers in the Dance Company. Rebecca has a certificate III in Performing Arts at ADPI and in currently working towards her Teaching certificates through CSTD and her RAD advanced 2. Rebecca has a passion for dancing, teaching, singing, acting and performing and is looking forward to joining the Dance Force teaching team for another year.

Student Teacher
Allanis has been dancing at Dance Force for 9 years. She has shown a great passion for teaching dance and is very excited to be taking on her role within Dance Force this year. Allanis has been working hard towards gaining her teaching certificates in Classical Ballet, Tap and Modern jazz and has also been travelling to the Gold Coast to study a certificate in dance teaching and management. Allanis is very loved by all the students at Dance Force and will make a wonderful addition to our teaching staff. Allanis has performed throughout QLD in various competitions as well as in California Disneyland and taken workshops at the ALDC LA and Millenium dance. Allanis was also the recipient of an Empire Theatre Bursary for dance in 2017

Baylee has been with Dance Force for 13 years. She has studied all styles including Classical Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop, Contemporary, Acrobatics and Musical Theatre. Baylee has competed all over QLD in dance competitions and has performed in many stage shows including Creative Generation and Hong Kong Disneyland. Baylee has been an assistant teacher teaching along side principal Sarah Hoyling for several years and has discovered her passion for teaching dance. Entering her second year of dance Baylee is extremely excited to meet her new students and to help them along their journey at Dance Force.
